Contrasting Sharply

Jylan Wynne, the designer and coder at briter:webdesign

History

Contrasting Sharply originated in October 2006, 2 months before briter:webdesign was was launched. I created it partly because I just wanted to have a photoblog, and partly because I wanted to showcase my photography. Contrasting Sharply has had only one major redesign and name change. The first design placed only one image on the home page, had the sidebar on the right, was called Jylan Wynne's Photoblog and looked fairly ugly.

Cameras

A lot of the photos on Contrasting Sharply are taken with an Olympus Camedia D-540 ZOOM, with a portion taken by the Olympus Camedia C–180, and all new photos from the 11th April 2008 with a Canon Powershot A720.

Overview

I am the 15 year old freelance web designer who owns briter:webdesign (a web design business). My picture can be seen to the right. I am currently living in the suburb of Adelaide Park, Yeppoon, which is a great place located in Central Queensland, Australia.

Hobbies

When I am not designing or tweaking my websites, I can be found reading, taking photos, trampolining, bike riding or listening to my shortwave radio (a Degen 1103). Shortwave radios pick up radio stations around the world, such as the BBC, Radio Sweden, Radio New Zealand, Radio Netherlands, Voice of America, Voice of Islamic Republic of Iran and many more.

Jylanization

I also post as often as I can to a text blog called Jylanization. It contains lots of different content, such as what I do every day, places my family and I travel to, information about my web design business and local news.
